January brought rain and ice, a long with sometimes warmer than normal temps. There were also some great hunting to go along with the rain and cold.

It seemed that during January, it took the ice and cold winds to get the birds moving, and those hunters that braved the elements seemed to always get their limits. Mike Jolley and Rockie Martin each bagged a banded duck.

There was a very special hunt during January. Pintail Farms hosted Mark, and Iraqi Veteran, to a hunt to thank him for his service to our country.
