| Hunting Report
- September 21 -27, 2007 |
This weekend was spent
doing allot of work around Pintail Farms and getting ready for what
we think will be one of the best waterfowl seasons yet. We are in
the process of putting fences around all the feeders to keep the
wild hogs out and allow the deer to come around. We have built some
new floating blinds and are working on some 14ft. blinds that 4 hunters
can pick up and move when the wind changes. Next on the list was
clearing the lanes to the duck lakes and getting ready to get some
more food plots in. Maintenance work was done to the wells and all
are running as they should. General clean-up to the Lodge was on
the list also. All this to make for a fantastic hunting season at
Pintail farms.
We are really looking forward to our Youth Hunt weekend October 27
- 28. The youth hunters always have a wonderful time as do the adults.
The warm weather may make for a slow start to the upland bird hunts,
but we are hoping for some cooler weather soon.
Here are the dates for upcoming openings of seasons and bag limits
from the Texas
Parks and Wildlife website:

The video footage was shot at Pintail Farms last year and the music
is great. |
