Youth Weekend was great! We only had two hunters, but those two will remember that weekend for a long time to come. The two got some nice ducks and saw waterfowl coming in by the hundreds. Twelve ducks were taken that weekend.
This weekend was fast and furious with teal, gadwall, widgeon, and divers buzzing us all morning on Saturday. Sunday warmed up quickly but there were still alot of ducks around. The hunters that were out this weekend had a great time.
Pintail Farms has water every where, and with that we are waiting on the push of big ducks to descend on us

North Texas Weekly Migratory Hunting Report from TPWD.
"North Zone Duck Forecast: Conditions are wet throughout the North Zone, with rivers, sloughs, bayous and reservoirs brimming with water. That bodes well for hunters compared to past years of drought when ducks bypassed East and Northeast Texas. Lots of teal, gadwalls, wood ducks and a few wigeons have been seen. Very few mallards have been reported, but that could change quickly if cold fronts continue to make it to Texas. The first split runs Oct. 31-Nov. 29. Prospects are good."
