| Hunting
Report - October 20 to October 26, 2006 |
In the last
couple of weeks we have been reporting on Dove Hunting in and around
the North Texas Region. Prospects remain fair to good through the
end of the season (October 30th).
We've also been reporting on
preparations for Duck Season along with nature's help in plentiful
rains and early cold fronts this year. For some time Mike Jolley
has been saying he expected the best waterfowl season North Texas
has seen in quite a while.
We have a real treat this week, and it is all "Treat" and
no "Trick".
Mike took some great shots this weekend to share with everyone.
You are going to feast your eyes on ducks galore in the pictures
we have
featured below. You will also see just what the recent rains have
done for the wetland areas and lakes at Pintail Farms since the shots
made just a week or two ago.
We get duck season kicked off this weekend (Oct 28th) with a youth
hunt. At this time we have 10 youth hunters ready to show you big
boys
and
girls just how it's done!

| Pintail Farms
Hosts Lee Lindeman of The Lone Star Hunter |
Pintail Farms hosted Lee Lindeman
of The
Lone Star Hunter and 6 hunters from the National
Wild Turkey Federation this weekend. Everyone had a great time
making ready for duck season with a little skeet
shooting and upland
game bird hunting
(pheasant and quail).
An upcoming episode for The Lone Star Hunter was filmed during
the visit. Don't miss it, it will air in about 3 weeks. |
