Hunting Update; January 12 - 18, 2007
Another 8 inches of rain made this last weekend a little slow. 16
inches of rain or so in the last month have us at prime water. In
fact our water acreage well exceeds our current reporting anywhere
on our website now.
The new cold fronts have the birds coming in but also have us scrambling
to break up surface ice to retain them. We are almost wishing for
a little break in the freezing temperatures.
Hunting is still good as you can see from the photographs below.
The dogs just aren't phased by the icy water.
