North
Texas Hunting Update; January 5 - 11, 2007
North Texas weather has been a littler warmer than we'd
like to see for hunting. Even with the warmer weather hunters that
stayed out for a while reached their limits. The long range forecast
shows a nice cold front coming in on January 13th, and staying
for several days. Make sure and check the 10 day forecast included
in the weather box on the right hand side of any page by clicking
the white "Get the 10 day forecast" link.
We have a number of good hunting photos to pass on to everyone
in this update. Over the holidays we had several youth hunters
exhibiting bravery and tenacity, while enjoying nature and having
a great time.
One particular young hunter accompanied his dad for one of his
first times hunting. Even with about 50 ant bites and being a little
cold he "hung tough" and had a great time watching
his dad shoot and limit out. You'll see the pics of Ryan
and his 4yr old son below.
During the 2006 - 2007 season and especially over the holiday
weeks we have had quite a few youth hunters, so we have put together
a "Photo
Presentation of the Youth Hunters at Pintail Farms 2006", for your enjoyment. The link above is a lower bandwidth
presentation with the capability of viewing individual pictures
or an automated slide show with music.
Make sure and visit our "Harvest
Board" for an updated
count.
We still have 3 weeks of fine North Texas Hunting remaining, this
season. Don't miss out!
